Shy Chrome browser

Hi,

Kubuntu responds with "Done" each time I install the Google browser, but it doesn't show up on the internet menu?
What should I do to find it?

Thanks

Can you launch it from the command line? I believe the command is `chromium-browser`. If not then it hasn't installed properly.

Open a console and type the following command:
Code:
which chrome
If that doesn't give you a response you might look in the /opt/google directory if you have one.
ciao,
jdk

Debian has a similar issue with Gnome2, I just had to make a custom menu entry to launch it. If you installed the official Google Chrome, the command to open it is google-chrome . If you just pulled Chromium from the repos, the command is chromium-browser , as stated above.
