Shockwave flash failed zorin 7.1 lite

Zorin 7.1 Lite is working good in my 10 year old Compac Presario 2800 Athlon 512 MB Ram . No problems at all BUT when I go to youtube and watch a video a yellow strip appears across the screen that says "Shockwave Flash Has Failed " or something like that . How can I turn this off ? everything works fine even the youtube videos so why the error message ? is the Chrome web browser trying to download the Windows version of Shockwave flash or something . This is no big problem but if I can disable this error message that would be nice so it does not pop up all the time .

THANK YOU ! b0b Cassopolis Michigan

Because mine is old. I have to run a older version of flash player.
I am not saying this is the case with you because I have not seen enough
on the specs of the computer you are running on.

So because mine is old. I run the Flash 10.3r183 to get best results.

Since we don't know the details on yours

Edit: Does not Chrome browser run it;s own version of Pepperflashplayer supplied by Chrome. Which I do not run.
I am posting in Iceweasel browser,

i think youtube has a fallback player for when flash fails.
i have seen this myself (videos playing on youtube despite error message).

other than that, what rokytnji said.
