Sharing USB devices between two computers

I have an old desktop computer with Windows 98 on it and a newer used desktop computer for Linux.

I'd like to share the scanner, CD burner, and SanDisk flash card reader between the two computers. I'm looking for the USB equivalent of a KVM switch (which I already have and use). I was unable to find a USB switch at Staples, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Sears, and Office Depot.

I'm not sure if my computers have USB 1.1 or 2.0.

What do you recommend?

Heh...my kinda guy! If it wasn't for SQL Server being such a hog, I'd have my core2duo system at work running Gentoo and the Celeron running WinXP...but as it stands, the Celeron is more responsive =\

edit - sorry, no clue on what to advise...hopefully someone with more knowledge in USB switching will come along...

USB switches exist but you may be forced to mail order.
