sharing printer

I'm using a kvm switch to see mandrake 10 and winxp on two pcs, should I use the printer sharing on winxp to look for the one on pc 2? How would I go about this.
Also - docking stations - can these be used on desktops?

that would probably be the easiest solution. Mandrake probably detects the shared printer automatically. if not; check if samba and cups are installed on Mandrake and if your windows firewall or virusscanner isn't blocking the shared printer.

I don't understand what you want with the dockingstation, but I don't know much about them anyway. Hopefully someone else chimes in to help you with that.

Not really. Docking stations provide expansion capability for laptops that desktops already have. Laptops typically have special connectors to interface to docking station where the desktop does not.
