Sharing an internet connection between Windows and Linux.

Hi,
I understand the basics of Linux, still pretty new to it.

I'm using Fedora Core 4 on one box, AMD 1800. I would like this Linux box to have access to my VDSL connection on another box AMD64, Windows XP.

Is there an easy way to do this?
Or is it easier to have the Linux box as the direct connection?
The two PC's would be connected peer-to-peer.

If anyone could help me out with this it would be great.

Thanks.

The linux box as direct connection would make your network more secure.
Anyway, on the windows XP box, right click to the properties of your connection and check the "share this internet connection" box (in the advanced tab).
That should do it.

Buy a adsl router with a built-in switch. It will make sharing the connection very easy and you get the added benefit of a hardware firewall in the router.

Thanks for the help.
I tried sharing the connection from XP but I can't get any internet access from the Linux box.
Maybe I will try getting a DSL router, do any work? Like could I use an ADSL router for VDSL or would I need a VDSL specific router?
