sfdisk for logical partition

Hello Experts,

I am trying to partition my flash into 3 primary and 1 extended partitions of fixed sizes of 32768 (2) and remaining as 1 extended partition using a script.

I would like to know if there are any mathematics involved in getting to know how many cylinders make a 1MB .

Thanks,
Andy

The "cylinder" concept is not relevant for flash drives. You do not need to know such math. When you select the 'create partion' option, both fdisk and cfdisk will ask you how many bytes (or megabytes or gig) of the displayed total that you want to allocate for the new partition.
