Setup up DSL connection
 

I just installed mandrake 9.2 and i have sbc yahoo dsl. the os detects my NIC. but i have no idea of how to connect to the internet. please help..thanks

does your service require you to "log in" with a username and password ?
if so, did you get anything for you could provide it yet ?

it does require a login. i connect through winxp but i want to set it up for mandrake linux.

I'm pretty sure these tools are available on Mandrake...
adsl-config

You have to be root of course.

locate adsl-setup (usually in /usr/sbin)
if not it is inside rp-pppoe-xx
install it and then type in a terminal (as root) adsl-setup
You must configure the connection but it work fine
