setup redhat7.3 on formatted hd

This question may be simplistic, but I've looked everywhere to find a boot disk download that will let me boot to my redhat cd's- my computer shows : "invalid system disk installed- replace the disk and press any key". On this particular computer, I want to run Linux only. Thank you for letting me waste a moment of your time! -Jeffy.

your Red hat installation CD has the boot.img file (under /image) that you can use to create an installation floppy disk.

CD #1 has /images/boot.img and /dosutils/rawritewin/rawritewin.exe tool that you can run within windoze to create the boot disk. run the rawritewin program and specify the source as /images/boot.img and the target is a: or what ever the floppy drive is.

Once you have created the disk, boot your machine with it and use this parameter at the installation boot prompt:

linux mediacheck

This will check your media for any abnormalities.
