setup my home server media player


Interested in purchasing Home Server and a Media Player
Have a wireless network running, router is hard wired to desk top rest of system is
wireless.
Wish to include a server and a media player.
open to recommendations?

run plex server on your desktop, no need for any notional server, and there are loads of client systems that support plex, smart tv's, rokus, chromecast etc.

btw, using your email address as your username really isn't a great idea!

Take a look at the RaspberryPi. Only $35 a pop. You can run them 24x7 with no head, guilt or noise.
