Setup mail?

Hmm, how would I setup mail (sendmail)? I got this message when trying to send a mail, I think:
Quote:
----- Transcript of session follows -----
... while talking to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.:
>>> DATA
<<< 550-5.7.1 [72.228.4.13] The IP you're using to send email is not authorized
<<< 550-5.7.1 to send email directly to our servers. Please use
<<< 550 5.7.1 the SMTP relay at your service provider instead. c9si202298ana
554 5.0.0 Service unavailable

W/o knowing anything else about your set-up my first
guess would be that you're using a dynamic IP, and that
the name that your server announces itself as doesn't
match any DNS records ... in other words: the server you're
trying to talk to thinks of your box as a spammer.

Cheers,
Tink

use the SMART_HOSTS option in your sendmail.mc:

define(`SMART_HOST', `smtp:mail.myisp.com')

I have a dynamic IP too, its always a good idea to try to get off those black lists, this one was the big one that cleared my IP for those really important sites.
