Setting up the ipod - opensuse 10.2

Im trying to find something that will recognize and allow syncing with my ipod. Anyone have any suggestions for this?

Also, does Helix banshee have this capability? I only ask because I thought I had seen something somewhere before on it. However, it doesnt recognize my ipod or give any ipod related options.

current Ipod is probably a first gen or slightly later if it matters much.

Thanks, sorry if im just retarded!

Amarok should do this out of the box.

Short answer is: it should. You will need to check YaST to see if you have libipoddevice and ipod-sharp installed. If you do, head to http://banshee-project.org/Troubleshooting/iPod for more ideas.

First-gen stuff can always be tricky, driver-wise and such, but I'd think the software would have caught up by now.
