Setting up partition
I have a P4 box with two hard drives in it both are 80 gig WD. I want to setup fedora core 4 on the master drive and the slave drive to share files between my windows computers. When I go thru the graphical install process how do I setup the partition using disk druid? What are the parameters what is the best way to set up the partitions.:scratch:
/ /boot /var /home |
fc4 will use LVM by default, so you'll only have two actual partitions, a minimal /boot and the rest will be a physical volume to hold all the other partitions.

Ummm--I think you already asked this question on Linux-general. What's different here?
To share data with other computers (Windows included), the partitioning setup is not important. |

I need more clarification in how to setup the partitions manually given my setup info. I dont want to do a automatic

If you don't have a specific reason for creating lots of partitions, then don't mess with it.
