yeah, got it working...

for HP 710,c 712c and 720c the complete system requirements are......

GHOSTSCRIPT (the binary 'gs' must be available)
Foomatic-rip
pnm2ppa

foomatic can be downloaded from linuxprrinting.org
pnm2ppa can be downloaded from sourceforge
and ghostscript will probably come with your distro.
