setting up kernel

Hi all,

I need to make some changes to the kernel for it to support Arabic. When I go to /usr/src , there is no directory that says kernel. . The only directory under /usr/src is rpm. Can it be under a different directory. I cannot locate it. Or is it a problem in installation. I am running Linux Mandrake kde 3.2

Any help will be appreciated.

Also if any one know how to support Arabic in konsole, please let know

Ghita

You most likely didn't installed the kernel-source packages during initial installation. Either get them from CD, Mandrake's site or www.kernel.org
