Setting up Imap folders in MDK 10.1

I'm trying ot get imap folders setup in MDK 10.1. Before last saturday when I ran 9.0 all I did to get it up and running was to install courier-imap, setup a receive imap account in Kmail and setup my imap folders. Using fetchmail to get my mail from earthlink and procmail to sort it to the folders. Now on 10.1 I'm having nothing but problems. When trying to setup the folders after creating the account, a window keeps popping up saying (cannot connect to host earthlink.net). This locks up kmail totally if I'm trying to setup folders. If I delete the imap account all is well. I don't remember having to do any configuring of courier-imap in 9.0 in order for it to work. Am I missing something here or what?

Thanks
Chris
