setting up ICS on a linux machine ?


What do i need to install to accomplish this Internet Connection Server ?
I've use a precompiled distro called ClarkConnect, but i would like to setup my own from scratch for learning purposes !
Any help would be appreciated !

There are some mini distros around which need a fair bit of manual configuration but are specifically designed as routers (is that what you want?) e.g. leaf.sourceforge.net, but if you want the full gory details you could look at:
