Setting Up Graphics Acceleration

Hi!

I'm new to linux and I've just recently installed Fedora RC2-Test3 on my system...

It detects my video card correctly (Radeon 9700pro), however, when I run Chromium it's all lagged and unbearably slow..which leads me to believe my video drivers are not set up properly.

Where do I begin?

How do I use Fedora to check what packages I have installed? I need to find uot if rc2-test3 uses Xfree86, or Xorg, and if either are installed....
