Setting up an ftp server
 
Hey, I am very new to ftp and I was wondering if there was any way for me to seet it up so that i can access all the files on my computer (Im running MEPIS) from any other computer. If it is possible could somebody help me with setting it up or redirect me to a HOWTO site.

All help is greatly apreciated.

I don't know if this applies to Linux, but with FreeBSD I used ftpd to do exactly what you wish to do. Install ftpd and follow this link. It's not complete, but helps a bunch:
