Setting up a 120gb NTFS Hard Drive and sharing it as an ftp server

Well this may seem like an unusual one but here goes.

I have a windows xp machine and my Red Hat 9 machine. They are networked.

In the Windows Machine I have a 60gb HDD (the C: Drive) and a 120gb HDD (D:). Both use the NTFS file system.

I currently run an FTP server on my windows machine which shares stuff from my 120gb hard drive.

What I would like to do is move the 120gb HDD to my linux box as a secondary hard drive and set up an FTP Server to share stuff from it. So it basically does the same job as my windows machine currently does.

Firstly, is this possible, and secondly, how would i go about it?
Please keep in mind I have only been using linux for a week.

Many many thanks,

AnarKi.

it is possible but ntfs write support isn't very stable in linux so you would be better copying the data off the disk then put an ext3 or reiser filesystem on it.
