Setting global hotkeys for xmms in KDE

I want to set up global hotkeys for xmms in KDE. Something like the winamp ones, ctrl-alt-pgdown to skip song next and so on.

Can anyone provide me with step by step instructions to do this please?

As I read it you can't set app specific hotkeys in the KDE control center.

XMMS has global keybindings already defined, if you want to change then then download the source and make the changes. See; man xmms

sorry i should be more specific. I know about the keybindings that already exist, what i want to do is set key combos to perform actions such as skip, pause etc that work from whatever window im in, so i dont have to bring up xmms each time for the key combo to work.

/edit I have managed to set some hotkeys up using menu editor to create menu items for the commands and using control center to map keys to it, but, for want of a more accurate description, it makes kdocker spaz a bit, and doesnt work at all if xmms is docked and not in taskbar.

bumhats. any suggestions would be appreciated
