setting diplay sli issue
 
Is there a distro that will install correctly with sli live or other. ever since i installed a secound gforce ultra in my gigabyte mother board it cannot boot x in either kubuntu or ubuntu. it seems to have a issue setting display .is there a way at boot i can either set display to a cirtin card or any other info. if you know of a kde based distro that boots with sli please let me know

Ok, so you have 2 graphics cards on your motherboard. Hmmm. The best way would be to check your X config, and go to X.org wiki. I know of a program that allows you to have many screens, but I forgot it's name... and , just so you know, the driveres will not be a solution.

first thank you for responding

i downloaded slak live it runs no problem same with koniptic. i am currently dl full 4 cd set. i am new to linux but love the challenge and breath of fresh air. there is a difennit issue with the xserver and my set up in alot of distros . slackware seems very good so hopefully the ful;l install will go well
