Setting date/time
I just set my server date/time to my local time. Does this instruction that resets the date/time in the non-volatile (CMOS) memory still work with Debian?
hwclock --systohc |
Setting the date and time is a two step process.
Step 1: use the date command to set date and time. Step 2: use hwclock to set the date and time in the hardware clock. |
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:35 AM. |
