Hi
I want to set up a broadband connection in fedora 7. But I am not being able to set it. the broadband works in windows but in linux it does not. please help me to set up a broadband connection in fedora 7.

I use a modem provided by my service provider BSNL

also i know with cable that the internet receiver (cable modem) has to be power-cycled in order to accept a new nic cards hwaddress.

unplugging/ replugging the power to both the pc and the internet reciever.
