[SOLVED] Set VLC to autoplay DVDs in GNOME/Arch linux.
I'm trying to set up GNOME on Arch Linux to autoplay DVDs with VLC.
Seen as the gnome_volume_manager no longer seems to serve this function I am having a bit of trouble working out what to do.
If I navigate to System >> Preferences >> File Management >> Media the settings are all there except the option list for DVD playback is greyed out and only says "No applications found". I understand GNOME is configured to work with Totem when playing DVDs by default but I'd much rather use VLC. Does anyone know how to get GNOME to recongnise VLC as a DVD playback application?
