Set up Xwindows on Redhat over SSH
Could someone tell me how to set up my Redhat and Windows boxes so I can view a GUI over my SSH connection to my Redhat box. I am running OpenSSH on Redhat 9 and logging in through a Win98 box. I was hoping it was possible to "see" the Redhat desktop as if I was at that terminal. If this is possible, please give me a step by step instruction. I am a newbie.

I use Hummingbird Exceed to access linux from windows. Its an X terminal emulator, meaning that although you cannot see the desktop (i don't think theres a command-line for that) you can still type commands like "mozilla" into the command prompt, and a mozilla window will pop up.

You could use VNC or cygwin to view your linux desktop over the network.
