Angry set up internet access

I'm so new to using Linux that my distro is still shiny and I'm marvelling at the river bank!

So... I've got SUSE 9.2 Prof (on a mag disk) and it's installed - but I don't know how to set up my ADSL modem - I've found some Linux drivers on the website (Sagem) but don't know how to get the software to run and install itself. If I can get this one thing done - hallelujah!!!

p.s. nice website

Thanks all

Download the drivers for the ADSL modem. Then extract them like:
tar -zxvf adslmodemdrive.tar.tgz

Then go into that directory and type in:
./configure

Then type in:
make

Then type in:
make install

Then type in:
make clean

That should do the trick.

What I mean is the terminal or console. Usually /bin/bash.
