set up a dialup connection in CentOS5
 

I have installed CentOS5 yesterday. Is it possible to create a dial-up connection in this OS? if yes kindly provide the information(or steps) for creating the dial-up connection.

Yes, it is possible to create dial-up connection. Please provide us info the modem you are using and what you have tried. Since different modem requires different steps.

Model name: RD01-D850
Brand name: CONEXANT

I don't know how to setup dial-up connection,as i'm a new user in LIINUX. so i did'nt make an attempt to do so!!

Ok. First, you need to download scanModem and/or read http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/first.html , since your modem is a winmodem.
