Set permission to two groups on a single folder

Hi.
I need a folder with access control to group of users.
One write group(a list of users) should have write access to the folder & one read group should have only read access to the same folder. No other users apart from Write group & read group should any type of access to this folder.

Are these local users or network users accessing a file share?

All these are local users

A dir can only have one group 'owner', but you can add access for others via ACLs http://www.linuxtopia.org/online_boo...s-setting.html
