Why do so many people post questions in this forum?

It won't do you much good to add /sbin to your path as you still won't have the permissions to execute the apps there. And it depends on what shell you're using. Just 'su' and run the app in sbin you want.

-- Sorry - that didn't sound very friendly. Let me try again: Welcome to LQ! But it is the wrong forum.

I have to agree, what part of "Member Success Stories" that most members miss and go ahead and post their question in??

This thread has been moved accordingly. Seemed suitable in Newbie as, well, it is a Newbie type question which is asked all the time. A Search would have found your answer.

Regards.
