set locally. others can ping my nameserver but can't view the content of my url

gateway is 10.0.0.6
content of resolv.conf is
search apc.com
nameserver 10.0.219.212
nameserver 10.0.0.6--->>> i remove it
nameserver 10.106.8.1--->>>i remove it

no problem with nslookup and dig can querry my server. They can ping my domain name and hostname. I can view the content in my browsers url but others can't

Huh? First, if by others do you mean people not on your lan? Thats a private ip range you listed. So, unless you have a server running a web server that your routing traffic to or at least NATing it then no one SHOULD see what is in your "url". By url I guess you mean no one cn see your web site?Are you trying to share your web server with the net? Are you trying to let others see your router interface? if apc.com is sitting on somethign under 10.0 anything, then no one out on the net is fgonna see unless you route to it.

Maybe a few more details.

Its always Good to post your command outputs here b/w [code] as a whole and not a single line, that simply doesnt mean anything.

So how people on your local lan accesing the website ?

what is the output of "dig -x [your machine IP]"

GIve us all above info then only we can try to figure out what is happening ..
