Hi.. when I log into gnome I get the following:

Could not look up internet address for dhcppc1.
This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly.
It may be possible to correct the problem by adding
dhcppc1 to the file /etc/hosts.

Is this normal? My hosts-file look like this:

# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

What to do?
Btw. Iam running FC4

It's your DHCP settings that needs to be (re)configured. Disable the assign name in the network control panel.

Or you can just edit your /etc/hosts file to add your computer for loopback:

Example

127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
127.0.0.1 Anden008 <<<the line you add

That should do it.
