To mount a cd (need to create /media/cdrom if it doesn't exist):
Code:
mount -t iso9660 -o ro /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom
to mount a floppy (a dos floopy)
Code:
mount -t fat /dev/floppy /media/floppy
The above can be done more easily if you have entries for them in your fstab.

You need to unmount them before you remove them:

Code:
umount /media/cdrom
umount /media/floppy
To mount the usb is more complicated. You need to know what the device of the USB is.

this is what happened when i tried the floppy

Code:
mount: unknown filesystem 'fat'
mount: maybe you meant 'vfat'?
so i tried with vfat

Code:

mount: special device /dev/floppy does not exist

edit:

i got it to mount the floppy it was at /dev/fd0!
