Hi,

Our company uses sendmail. We have planned to migrate to Qmail. Need some documents in configuring Qmail and migrating from Sendmail to Qmail. Need your help in doing this. I am new to Qmail.

And are you new to Google too? Putting "how to migrate to qmail from sendmail" into Google pulls up over 2 MILLION hits. Amazingly, the very first hit is from the Qmail site:
http://qmail.jms1.net/sendmail-migration.shtml

...and others have information too:

Yes TBone. I am a new born baby. Google pulls out lots of links. I was hoping if anyone has configured Qmail. And has a standard link. Rather than testing with all the links without knowing which will work, I prefer to ask people who have come across this configuration.

And without actually DOING ANYTHING, you'll never know which one works either. And, since every installation is different, there is no 'standard link'. There are GUIDES....read them, follow them, make changes as needed to fit YOUR need and installation.

Your original question certainly didn't indicate ANY effort on your part to try to solve your problem, or even look up a solution. Like this thread from last year, where someone else essentially told you the same thing:

I'm always amazed at posts like TB0ne's ... have you Google searched it? That is the entire point of these forums, so people don't need to just "Google it". The OP made a good point, he came here to ask the experts (supposed), rather than try search through pages and pages of irrelevant links to find the answer. From a senior member of the forum, I would have expected better.

Nope, he didn't. Did you read/understand what the OP posted?? They asked for DOCUMENTS...indicating they put no effort into looking up or trying anything before posting. There was not a problem to help WITH. Forums like this are the places to come AFTER you read the how-to guides, and try things that you can't get solved. Not the place to come to have folks Google things for you.

And I would have expected a new member to have read the original question, and to have looked at the OP's posting history (and the types of questions posted by them), before commenting. The LQ Rules are also fairly clear:

So what pieces of constructive advice did you give?? Also, be aware that it's fairly obvious this is another account you've created for this same purpose. You've posted here several times in the past under different names.
