Sendmail problem


hi i am still a newbie in linux i am using redhat 5.0 of which i have configured Dns with a fictious named called kurtsville.com using an ip address 192.168.0.1 ,so i have also installed sendmail ver 8.13 and i have created mail users and i am using evolution as my mail agent but when i try to send mail to my gmail account it refusing saying the domain of a sender doesn't exist i dont where i am failing please help !!!
