sendmail problem

hi everyone, i have configured sendmail on my server, but i can't telnet my hostname to make sure it works properly, i configured all the sendmail files,alises,virtusertable,access i also fixed the etc/hosts as well but when i telnet my hostname it gives me this error that servname not supported for ai_socktype...

Try to telnet to internal IP (or external)
see if that works.

If that does work, you probably need to setup DNS.

Your DAEMON_OPTIONS seems to be incorrect
