I have a strange issue I want to run by you.
@domain1.com Sendmail server in CA
@domain2.com Sendmail server in NY
When a person sends an email to @domain1.com for someone in NY, it comes into @domain1.com, is forwarded to an exchange server in CA then his server changes the email address to @domain2.com and the message arrives in NY.
All mail to @domain2.com come directly to NY.
Anyway, if you look below a user from @esspos.com sent a test message to both
me@domain1.com and
me@domain2.com. The @domain1.com message came in just fine but the @domain2.com message appears to time out. I get no error, discard, nothing. Just the one line I included below. The sender eventually gets a message “The message wasn’t send for 4 hours….”.
If you look at the log, you will see the one that worked was relayed through domain1.com. The one that didn’t went through mxlogic.net. My suspicion is there timing out or something. Also, as far as I know, it only mail from @esspos.com that is having a problem.
