Sendmail and PHP

I recently installed Redhat 9.0, with apache, php, sendmail, and a bunch of other stuff unimportant, i think, to this question.

I have so far managed to configure apache, the ftp server, remote login, and some other things, and now find myself with the task of configuring sendmail, which I'm find is no easy thing.

My first question is this: How do I configure sendmail to work with PHP so that it will send mail for me? I have an smtp server from my ISP, but have no idea how to tell sendmail to use it, or if that is all I need to do.

My second question: I have a domain name, and a catchall address for it. I would use an email server of my own, but my ISP doesn't allow incoming connections on port 25. So, is there a way to set up linux to recieve the email from my catchall address, split it up accordingly, and retransmit the individual messages to the neccessary addresses?

Thanks in advance.
