Sendmail access/configuration question

Many years ago I setup a Linux machine to act as a web and mail server. I am running an old Caldera E-server version. The package came with Sendmail and has worked very well for years with one exception. I can retrieve my email with no problem using a computer with a static IP. Other computers in my home are unable to retrieve email. They have dynamically assigned IPs. What setting am I overlooking that would allow them to get their email?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I hope you're aware of the inefficiency and risk of running deprecated, unsupported, unmaintained distributions?

What errors does "unable to retrieve email" result in on the client and server side (check logs)?

Hello, is your static IP entered in the Firewall? Maybe the DHCP range that you use blocked by him.
Or, check the sendmail config files, there are some section to restrict mail connections.
