Sendmail
 

Hi guys

i was just wonder if anybody got any good information on how to setup sendmail to send email. i am using the mutt client i got fetchmail set up.......i have procmail setup with a few filters.....but when i try to send email it just stays in my outbox.......how can i configure sendmail so my messages go to the intended receiver?

Are you using the version of Sendmail installed by FC6 ?

You have to configure sendmail.cf in the /etc/mail folder
telling Sendmail where your mail folders are.

I have been using Sendmail for a number of years but I prefer to download
build install and configure it myself. Unless you like abuse and punishment
stay away from the google Sendmail group - they eat newbies for breakfast.

Was Sendmail installed ?

What version of Sendmail ?

yes sendmail was installed.........the version is 8.13
