Sendmail

Hello friends..

I am bit new to sendmail and i am trying to implement it on an internal LAN network, which is not connected to internet. I want to use it for in house users and would like the users to authenticate before sending mails. Pls tell me what changes do i have to make in my sendmail.mc file for this. Also, there is will be no relay of mails, its a single domain network in which users need to authenticate before sending mails(which i want to implement)

Any help will be appreciated..

Well my this issue is resolved, tnx to redhat knowledgebase article FAQ_81_2471.shtm.html.

However, there is a small problem now. If i do not check "My server requires authentication" in Outgoing mail server , in OE, I can still send a mail and the sendmail server dosen't tell OE user that "authentication" needs to be checked. But if i check this option then everything works fine i.e. user cannot send mail with wrong password.

Any ideas???
