Angry Sending mail on evolution

I have been using evolution for the last two weeks without any problems. But today I am unable to send emails. I can still receive them. I tried to delete the account and re-set it still unable to send. I am getting the following error. Error while performing operation.

Host lookup failed: auth.smpt.1and1.co.uk: Name or service not known

Please help
