Sending A Print Job

I cant seem to print a pdf that I downloaded from the Internet.
Is it because of permission issues?
When I email it to my friend to print, is she owner or group?

What are you trying to print it with?

What errors do you get?

Your friend is neither, unless she's a user on your computer.

Are you able to view the pdf document? If so, try ^p (control-p). This should bring up a print dialog to set the parameters.

I see from your message header that you're using Ubuntu. Which version and which desktop? Always try to give us as much help (information) as possible to assist in getting the best advice.
