Segmentation fault when running MandrakeUpdate

I'm trying to open up Mandrakelinux Update but all it does is open a Starting window on the taskbar without actually initializing it. I tried using a different GUI (GNOME instead of KDE) and rebooting, but that didn't seem to affect anything. I also tried running it through the terminal (rpmdrake --root), but all that does is give me a message saying there's a "Segmentation fault". I can't even get "Configure Your Computer" to start up. Is there any other way I can get this program running? Thanks ahead of time :)

Edit:

Linux gave me this message during startup:

Checking for new hardware/etc/rc5.d/S05harddrake: line 54: 2778 Segmentation fault
/usr/share/harddrake/service_harddrake 2>/dev/null [FAILED]

Mandrakeupdate is a paid for service. To update your system, go to easyurpmi, setup urpmi sources for your mandriva version (main, contrib, updates and plf). Once thats done, you can then upgrade packages using urpmi /rpmdrake. to find out more about urpmi go to zebulon.org.uk.

I was using urpmi before and it worked fine. I tried running Easy Urpmi again anyway just to see what happened, and I got this message:
