Segmentation fault

Both my friend and I use FC3 (Kernel 2.6.11-1.27_FC3) and run the same program (from internet) but we had different result.
While I did not encounter any problems, my friend had "Segmentation fault" error and the program stopped.
Any suggestions to fix the problem is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Segmentation fault
Segmentation fault in what or for what program. Be a little more specific.
