Segmentation error when trying to update timezone files

I have been trying to update the timezone files for SuSE Linux 9.2 but as soon as I ran zic -d /tmp/zoneinfo/CST6CDT I could no longer get zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2007 to work. When I checked zdump -v /etc/localtime It came back to me telling me I had a "segmentation error" How can I reverse what I have done so I can update the timezone files correctly?
