segmentation error and penggy

I'm using suse 9.1 prof (64bit) and have been trying to get on-line for a month. Unfortunately my ISP is AOL. I'm using penggy.
My modem is recognized and it dials out. finally it gives me this:

Executing chat script (/usr/local/share/penggy/chat/aolnet.scm)...
Segmentation fault

then cuts off. What to do?

--Baffled by the newness of it all
