Segfault message while installing MQ

I am trying to install a 32-bit websphere MQ trial application in Linux ES4.
Uname -a --> Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.9-34.0.2.EL #1 Fri Jun 30 10:22:45 EDT 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am getting the following error while installing...
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.14978: line 319: 22862 Segmentation fault /opt/mqm/bin/amqicdir -i -f
grep: /var/mqm/mqs.ini: No such file or directory.

The dmesg command outputs the following at its last line..

amqicdir[8364]: segfault at 0000000000000008 rip 0000000008049866 rsp 00000000ffff0540 error 4

Pls let me know your suggestions on this...

Hi,

And welcome to LQ!

A badly (or un-) configured badly written application is shooting itself in the
foot because it's trying to parse a non-existing configuration file?

Cheers,
Tink

Yes..I got the reply from IBM stating that the MQ 32 bit trial application is not properly certified with Linux X86_64 machine.
