See mouse (x) but screen is black
 

Hello all,

I'm a newb to linux and I just installed Suse 10.1. The installation went really smooth but when it goes the login screen (i'm assuming since i can't see it) all i see is the mouse (looks like x). I can move my mouse around but there is nothing else displayed. Can someone please help me?

The OP found a solution on the forum after posting this, I don't think this needs responses
