To build on what Keith Hedger said, it could be that the site is doing something to block the spell-check, for some fool reason (as my mother would have said) of their own. It would be also useful to know how you are trying to use the spellchecker--for comments (that would be default guess) or something else.

I use Seamonkey as my default browser choice and have not run into any issues with the spell-check. It functions here at LQ, on my own blog, and when I (rarely) write comments at other sites.

You have asked for help, we have told you what to do to get help - give us the problem site - we are NOT going to google and find this site because you can't be bothered to just post the url! I am so sick and tired of trying to get blood out of a stone, which is what its like trying to get info out of you people! sort it out yourself, like you I just can't be bothered!

welcome to modern education

students these days NEVER had to do research in the library
using a card catalog
or reference books
or the micro-fiche

or
Cthulhu forbid

walk to a different wing in the library
clime 4 floors into the " old stack"
and find the BOOK

Can you please NOT do that? LQ prides itself of its friendly atmosphere. If you can't be bothered, ignore it.
Having a go at a new member because you're disgruntled with the perceived general lack of effort doesn't help.

Tink
