What do you mean by "SDO"? To me, it refers to NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, but I'm guessing that's not what you mean. Please give us more information about what it is you want to know. Are you running Linux?

Edit: Please don't put your email address in your posts. You'll end up with lots of spam and by taking discussions off the forum, you stop others from benefiting from the help you get.

I just want to add that it isn't just to Nylex that SDO is an unclear abbreviation; I have no idea what you mean by this, too.

Initially, I thought Solar Dynamics Observatory was a bit unlikely, but it is the first suggestion from acronymfinder, so what do I know? Anyway, their current list of information technology abbreviations are:
  • Service Data Object
  • Serial Data Output
  • Software Delivery Optimization (Borland)
  • Super Distributed Object
  • Signed Data Object
  • Shared Data Object
  • System Development Operations
  • Software Development Outsourcing

and, out of those, only serial data output seems even vaguely relevant, and that, from context, sounds rather unlikely.

My current suspicion is that SDO is the abbreviation for something in some language other than English and something else is the commonly used abbreviation for it in English. I think if you want progress, you'll have to give us more of a hint...
